Exhaust grinding on concrete

when I bank the old girl over the exhaust downpipe grounds out and it pops fire out on the overrun [THUMBS UP SIGN] it's good fun and I love riding it

I do the same with mine but it's usually the centre/side stand and rear drive casing, can't get my toe down mind, no matter how hard I try, I miss my aprilia.

My aprilia was lovely but the burgy is so stable and usable it's a superb tool that ticks all the boxes apart from "flash Harry" attention which I like, it's good to be different [THUMBS UP SIGN]

A rider that causes a Burgy's exhause to scrape the ground truly doesn't deserve to ride a Burgman... Undoubtedly he (she?) should take a course in proper motorcycle riding and control.

Leaning it over causes this to scrape going slower would eliminate this but I don't want to sometimes

Put the rear shocks up to max and that will give you more clearance.

If it is shock trouble you have then get a pair of Fornalles Air shocks...fantastic difference in comfort and handling.

I disagree , its up to the riders expierience how far he wants to go , on a bike or a scoot. Maxis have good lean angles with good tyres fitted. The exhaust which is grounding out ( above) is an aftermarket can which might have less ground clearence making it easier to touch down.

When an exhaust, or part of it hits the ground, apart from sparks, things can fall off.... Unlucky for you if you're following and get hit; do remember that it is an offence to have insecure objects on a vehicle - it doesn't have to be a lorry, it can be anything that uses a road.
