Re: Ooh ooh!
The only sensible revamp of a TMax would be to regain the innovative ground that was the original TMax... We've argued over the pros and cons of bigger motors, but some trick suspension and lighter weight would benefit all maxi owners, all the time. And hybrids have been show bikes for Yamaha for years.
But we'll probably get a gaseous green special edition with imitation fart exhaust, anus winkers and intestinal electronics.
Because everything coming out of Yamaha at the moment is equally shit.
Presumably the new 230 hp Arse1 comes with an owners coffin in place of a manual, because there wont be time for most purchasers to read the fucking manual.

No door is closed to an open mind.
Except a closed door, which a mind can't open, but even a stupid hand can.

Some of their newer bikes look quite reasonable actually, and cheap, though not exactly ground braking - though absolutely nothing like I'd want to buy, obviously.

Re: Ooh ooh!
Just found that Yamaha are releasing some 'touring' versions of their models, including a (Bronze) Touring Tmax. In other words, a Tmax with a topbox, console bag and power socket for a mere extra £400.

Is this the fabled 'new' Tmax????

£9349, fuck that!!
Waay too much money when you could get a burgervan 650 (bearing in mind this is marketed as a touring package) heated seats 'n' grips, better weather protection, good storage and more power for two grand less.
