Hi, I always use proper riding gear no matter the weather, But i have noticed with this extra fine heat wave we have been having that the textiles i wear make me so wet with sweat, it's as if I've just jump out the shower, so I'd decided to buy a full set of leathers and i found them much better in this hot weather. I've still need to test them for winter wearing. But i do have a full set of textiles for the winter anyway.
You only get one chance and you want to have as much protection as possible, road rash is a bitch.
Hope this helps

I've found that Leather jackets are OK until it really gets hot, but then they are utterly awful. There are a variety of kevlar lined textile jackets around that are good in the summer - I've a Draggin Jeans lightweight jacket and a Roadskin kevlar-lined hoodie - both of these let the air flow through so are great in hot weather. The hoodie claims to be waterproof as well, though I doubt it...

Heat kills me. If it's too hot I have to use the car.

I have a pair of textile (waterproof) bike trousers that I have taken the liner out of. I wear these all the time when on the bike but alternate what I wear under them, shorts or 3/4 length shorts in the summer to track bottoms in the winter. I change once I get to work so not an issue.

I also have a textile (waterproof) jacket that I always wear. In the summer no liner & with the liner in the winter.

It's time consuming putting the stuff on but I think its worth it.
As they say is Star Wars.....May the Forza be with you
