I only ordered them this morning so cant really say what they are like :)
Heated grips have the advantage that they are always there if your hands are feeling cold. Normally you take the muffs off at the beginning of spring (say end of March), but of course you can still get cold days after then - and unless you have got an extra pair of gloves (or inner gloves) handy you might get cold. There again, heated grips aren't the total answer as only your palm gets warmed, and you do take your (left) hand off the handlebar more often than you think! A heated grips & muffs combo is good as the heat from the grips is retained inside the muff, and not blown away by the wind.
Also, Muffs are great in wet weather as they keep all the rain off, much better than gloves alone!

I like the Oxford scooter heated grips - lots of heat and they have never failed me.
Junk the silly switch though and buy a V8 controller separately - it's cheaper then and the system works well.

I fitted the Oxford special small scooter set of heated Grips to my Burgman 125 and they proved very effective. They were combined with a Givi touring screen though.
The Burgman 650 has heated grips and a Givi screen so I think there's not a lot more I can do.
Does anyone know if there's a set of Muffs that would fit the 650 that wouldn't block the sight line to the Mirrors?

The real snag with fitting muffs (on my 2008 Burger anyway) is the heated grip switch that hangs like an afterthought under the handlebar........

Looks Maxi Muppets should of tried to sort out a group buy! - I doubt anyone who has purchased will be disappointed...
