Burgman k3 bar weights
Does anyone know the id of the handlebars on a k3? I need new bar end weights. Can't seem to find confirmation anywhere.

Yep they can go suck for that price. Problem is it still doesn't specify the ID of the bar. Think I'll just have to measure up and stop being lazy. Cheers anyway.

Re: Burgman k3 bar weights
It's a pain to measure as the grips overlap the bar. Can't really get in to measure. Most bar ends on sale seem to just specify the ID. Not model suitability. Considering you can pickup bar ends for a tenner a pair ..40 quid OEM seems a bit of a rip.

Re: Burgman k3 bar weights
My experience with bar ends is that you can't beat the original ones that are the correct weight for the bike in question, agree this isn't the cheapest option but bought cheap bar ends in the past and ended up with vibrations or wobble at speed
If you decide to go for universal ones go for steel not alloy, any of the universal ones for a 22mm steel bar and rubber fitting that compresses like below should fit the standard Burgman bars altho clearance on the throttle grip could be an issue with non oe parts

Went for the OEM begrudgingly. But 28 quid for the pair rather than 20 a pop.
Oh well guess the bike is worth it.

Re: Burgman k3 bar weights
What is the problem with the original end weights? When the chrome started to peel off my bar weights, I took it all off with emery cloth and painted them black. I think they look better than the originals.
