Didn't realise this. At £6.5k these are quite a bargain...
They might be doug, but in 2014 any bike/scoot over £5k should have abs. The way road manners these days ,well here in the uk, I wouldnt look at a machine without it, (apart fron me c90 cub, I only go out on that at 7am sunday morning when the roads are empty. :D ).
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

Happened yesterday pulling out of Tescos on the SRV. Dickhead in a 4x4 pulled out without even looking. I pulled alongside and gave him the death stare. He wound his window down saying he didn't see me. The fact he didn't even look didn't register with the spud thick fucker. There is no reasoning with this type of driver because no matter what the situation we are always considered to be in the wrong...

True that it does have some needlessly high spec and complex componentry.
DougL wrote:If you were to compare the components to a similarly built motorcycle, then there isn't really a huge amount of difference.
That just shows that there are also expensive bikes available.
DougL wrote:You really need to ride one in anger, to know just how good these are.
I'd rather ride sensibly and don't care how good they are, I would never spend that amount of cash when I can get something for less than five grand that would do the job.

IMHO there is no way that any of these maxis should be priced over £6.5k new and that should include all the tits and bells , it is the big priced tags that are holding back purchasers in the uk And that's why I feel the new sym will be quite popular in comparison to some of the main brands .

Not really, I paid this price in 2008 brand new from the dealership till the economy went tits up and yam added 2 k to most of there models, basically selling at list price before the yen/pound thingy changed.
