Re: New Kawasaki J300
What a dreadful review!!!! 'Its really economical - I did 90 miles and the fuel gauge went down by 2 bars, so it must be doing 60-70mpg' ! Well thats scientific isn't it!!! After all, we know how precise fuel gauges are!!! And with 30bhp, I'd hope for a damn sight more than 75mph out if it!!
This is the sort of half baked shite that gives bike journalists a bad name.

Well at least the video is drawing attention. The MCN equivalent is dull, dull, dull.

Re: New Kawasaki J300
Yup. It's not really ground-breaking anywhere but it looks good, should be reliable, powerful for the size, nice to ride, good price new, probably decent resale value and (on a few anyway) ABS.Meldrew wrote:It's just another run of the mill single cylinder twin rear shocks scooter. The only thing that makes it a bit different is it's sporting a Kawasaki badge.
But the badge IS significant as it heralds the start of a whole new manufaturer doing scoots. And no, I don't mean the J300 itself, but what comes after. From hints dropped by Kwak execs, there may not be long to wait for larger capacity scoots with much more Kawasaki in them than Kymco.

Re: New Kawasaki J300
if it were a kawasaki it may have some new ideas. but seing as all they have done is rebadged a kymco. then it's hardly ground breaking...an also no feet forward rules it out for me too...oh tell a lie there is a sat nav bracket not many companies have this ...the X10 does an not to big ether...
Good friends don't let you do stupids thing alone .
