Thanks all for the comments so far. :)

I am really pleased but also really nervous. What if I eventually hate it? What if it starts to fall apart? what if...?

At least if there are only 8 in the UK, I might be able to make a quick profit if I sell it on fast. what do you reckon I should set the buy-it-now price at

There was more vibration coming through than on my Satelis 250

Obviously the speedo is most prominently in kph
Looks like three errors to me. ;)
I don't see why the kph speedo would be obvious, I had assumed (wrongly it seems) that being a premium brand Kawasaki would ensure a proper mph speedo was fitted for the UK.
Together with the vibration issue to me this is indicative that the J300 is a low cost low effort rebrand rather than a proper new scooter project.
Looks pretty though if you like the team green thing.
Hopefully it will sell well and encourage Kawasaki to do some properly new scooter models.

I was pondering the vibration on the way home. My conclusion is that it isn't more vibey then the Satelis, it is just different.

Good one, I really liked the look of it, and think in the black/green colours scheme it will be even better. The one I rode was all black. Being 6 foot, the feet forward think was an issue for me. Which was a really pity as I did really like it. Look forward to seeing your pictures in March. I don't think Kawasaki using Kymco for help is an issue, as Kymco do have a good reputation for scooters, and a lot of experience. BMW went down that route too. How many car manufactures share technology? My misses has a Fiat 500, which shares a lot with the Ford KA, and are built in the same factory in Poland.

This is actually a plus point, I'd say. This is Kawasaki's first scooter (in Europe) and it would surely be a risk to be an early adopter of such a machine. But aside from the tweaks to suspension and engine mapping, it is all tried and proven by Kymco so I have confidence that all will be well.

I would be much happier with two J300s than one BMW.......

I think I'd be more than half as happy with one J300 than a single C600.

Just not a green one.

if I wanted green I'll sick up Broccoli.
