You should make the dealer a cheeky offer on a new S-wing, they might just say yes.

I can safely vouch for the s-wing over the pcx, the pcx is limited to 62.5mph, and quickly gets slower and sloweras it gets over 15000 miles, my s-wing which I have now on the other hand maintains 70mph even in headwinds, but I do only weigh eight stone!

S-wing will be far more comfy and has way more road presence!

I'm trying to sell the s-wing but I think I might just keep it a while longer because its so fun! My other ride is a burgman 400 which I find a little heavy for town work

At 15,000 miles its time for a new belt and rollers, at which point normal top speed is resumed.
(same problem exists with any scooter CVT)

15000 at 7 miles a day gives me 2142 days riding before i need a belt change

thats every 5 and a half years :D

dont think i need to worry to much :o

and i really like the look of the pcx and am not over keen on the s-wing

i was only looking at silver wings because they had 600cc engines and were cheaper then most other things i could find at the time

im 34 not 50 so i can still get wet and cold and not die instantly :D

This alone is reason enough to buy one.
Other reasons are the superb handling and manoeverability.
On the minus side the seat hump can literally be a pain in the arse, but easily remedied.

we each have are own reasons for which scooter we buy..thats why there are so many to choose from..for me.best 125 would be swing.best big scoot burgman 400
my personal fav' is my symgts300.on my second sym now, does all i need at a good price...worst 125 was the yamaha cygnus,an worst big scoot was the silverwing 600..really not up to what i would expect from honda...

Like ive already said, the s-wing is a top notch 125, but if you like the pcx andy, go for it, they are also very capable, and very honda, I think they are a great looker too. If I was 36 again id have one, :D :D

Best scooter I've owned,,,,,,,,,S-Wing ( I've had 3 X9's, a Majesty 250, T Max and Burgman 650).
A Silverwing could be my next progression, but I've got the NC700 for those long journey away trips.
The S-Wing is well built, runs quicker than the lorries on motorways, handles very well and does not get blown about on windy days. It pulls away quicker than cars away from the lights and uses very little fuel. Spare prices are low, a new Honda Belt is £30 and lasts about 15,000 miles so I'm told. There is no engine noise or vibration.
If I lose this one, I would buy another, but I think the youngster's are not that interested in nicking one. It is also heavy and big to put in a small van.
