Re: Sticky fuel flap on Forza
I’ve had a a 2018 Forza 300 from new, and yes I’ve had the filler cap occasionally sticking in the early days, but not so bad I’ve had t’ve needed to stick a key in the flap to open it. I sorted that by wiggling the flap a bit and it’s been fine ever since. I never felt the urge to make a YouTube clip about it either.
Another early days niggle was now and again the seat would not close and lock shut. I sussed that out too with with what YouTube chap would call a simple hack, and once done the seat has closed every time.
Of course with both these early minor faults I thought it was just my own Forza and not the later 350:Forzas and the others he mentioned.

On the ADV, I've not had any fuel cap issue - there again, I've only refueled it few times in 6 months! However, the seat was reluctant to shut the other day, so obviously some Honda niggles have a long shelf life!

Re: Sticky fuel flap on Forza
The fuel flap on my Forza sometimes wouldn't open, but as I was always about to fill up, with debit card in hand, I was always able to flip it up with the card easily. The seat also on my Forza got so as it wouldn't fasten shut, but a washer under one end of the hasp, to push it out a bit, sorted that out. One year in, and 4,400 miles on the ADV 350, and the same mechanisms, but no problems so far.
