So my current grey is now being replaced by a shiny black version. It was registered late December’24 and has 0 miles, never been out of the showroom. Got a great deal and will be picking her up in around a week. I’ve retained my rear rack and Givi Maxia. Also swapped out my Givi large screen. So another 3 years Forza riding is ahead……

Goodbye Mr. Grey. Hello Penny Black..
With my ‘22 Forza 350 coming up for MOT time I thought I’d look around for another, newer version. Having read previous posts about some of the good deals to be had on late ‘24 models (I’m not too worried about getting the brand new ‘25 version) I decided to venture out and strike a deal.

Good on you! On the subject of the Givi Maxia, is it the 56 litre? I used to have one, and though I appreciated the capacity I found it caught side winds terribly. I left it at home on windy days unless I was going to be doing less than 40mph. Otherwise I would have to wear brown trousers!

Yes it’s the 56l. I don’t have that problem though. I’ve used this box on a R1200RT a Burgman 400 and the Forza, never been caught by the wind. I’ve even got the metal rack on top that carries a tent etc. always been as good as gold. Perhaps it’s because I’m a lard arse and the bike is planted

Well I'm a slim 9 1/2 stone so I didn't have as much weight to hold it downStibbs wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:57 pm Yes it’s the 56l. I don’t have that problem though. I have the Maxia 56 on my 350 and haven't noticed any handling problems as a result. It's usually quite breezy up here so I'm used to the wind and compensating for it. Soft hands!
I never fill it with stuff; it's more for storing helmet, gloves and jacket when I stop for a break.
My dealer at Newcastle Motorcycles was dubious about how the bike would look with it on but changed his mind when he saw it.

Steve, that's excellent mate! Well done you. We really must have that get together as the weather improves. Also, I need another visa to come to Felixstowe!Stibbs wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 4:37 pm With my ‘22 Forza 350 coming up for MOT time I thought I’d look around for another, newer version. Data,
Just pop into the Felixstowe embassy as you arrive. I’ll stamp you a fresh one!
As Mottza says I’ll have to pop down for a ride this year and have a catch up with you lot

Yes Steve, we must do a ride out. I'll pop into the embassy asap to get one stamped!!
Funny, we all keep buying new stuf bikes or otherwise. . A few weeks ago I bought a new electric car. Myself & a couple of friends all went into the dealer & test drove a couple & all of us ended up buying one. Others on here have also done the same. We now have five EV's again in the family.
