The windscreen was easy to fit, although watching the video first helped. I found it a bit of a fiddle to get positioned but got there in the end. On my Innova, I had a huge great thing that gave maximum protection but I couldn't see over it, not good in the rain. So I wanted something I could see over this time. When I first rode the SH300 with no screen, I was surprised by the amount of wind buffeting on my body. The new screen does eliminate much of this, although I don't think I'll be using my open face helmet quite as much because there's little protection. I could (and maybe should) have gone for the slightly larger Urban screen like Horobags. But it does what I wanted and seems to be quite stable at speed.

Indeed your new screen appears to be rather low - with the original Honda windscreen stanchions you can choose from an abundance of screens from firms like Givi / Fabbri / Faco etc etc

Yes I think it's good to have one fitted, personal choice on which type suits your needs, our original Honda one was huge and almost touched your face, but after a few trims with the jigsaw now much better for seeing over but with less protection, all a compromise and depends on your style of riding, looks ok

If it's not too windy, I might risk the M5 when I come back from having the heated grips fitted.

Wit you talking aboot man - urban highways and motorways were designed for the mighty sh300i - powerful and nimble enough to filter through modern day traffic - show some spunk and get out there and use those motorwaysSnail wrote:hey no, motorways aint for scooters! only did 20 miles on m6 once scary, very scary,

Yeah, the most entertaining thing about the SH300 was that a tiny pizza bike could wallop along the outside lane at silly speeds, overtaking 'proper' bikers. There again, it wasn't fun in crosswinds.....Symcity wrote:Wit you talking aboot man - urban highways and motorways were designed for the mighty sh300i - powerful and nimble enough to filter through modern day traffic - show some spunk and get out there and use those motorwaysSnail wrote:hey no, motorways aint for scooters! only did 20 miles on m6 once scary, very scary,

I didn't risk it, challenging enough along the sheltered back road. Fun though, especially with toasted hands thanks to my new heated grips.

Na, retired man no need to go that fast anymore, so no motorways! Unless absolutely no alternative?Symcity wrote:Wit you talking aboot man - urban highways and motorways were designed for the mighty sh300i - powerful and nimble enough to filter through modern day traffic - show some spunk and get out there and use those motorwaysSnail wrote:hey no, motorways aint for scooters! only did 20 miles on m6 once scary, very scary,
