T Max mk 1 Question

Post by Big Den »

I was upgrading my headlights the other day, dip is H7 and high is H4, got the wrong type of H7 but ok on the high beam H4, when I took the old one out it was twin element but I only have one beam on when dipped ie the H7 (single filament) r/h beam sitting on the bike which is shite in the dark (when you need them :) )
Can a T Max person tell me if both beams should be on when dipped ?

No as standard only one dipped beam is on, but a good and common conversion is to run a simple piggy backed wire over to the unused element of the main beam twin element bulb and have two dipped beams. Good improvement on lights and no MOT problems etc. Well worth doing.

There's a few versions out there but here's one. It really is dead simple to do.
