It says in the latest Scootering magazine that the 500 Executive will be in the UK next year.

Wow and double wow!! I have a Piaggio dealer on my doorstep. My nearest Sym dealer is 35 miles away so given the Sym 600i's need for very frequent servicing, the 500 X10 could be very viable for me. I loved the 350 but really want and need more power. I'm all excited again after being somewhat disappointed by the projected service costs on the Sym 600i.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Sounds interesting, shame they aren't bringing out another sporty scooter out with the 500 lump in it.

Yes, there's definetely a gap in the market for another Nexus 500. - Obviously the Tmax is there, but not at a price mortals can afford.

I paid just over £6600 for my X10 500. The converted cost from France was about £5500 as you do not pay the tax in France, but they stung me for £1100 vat in the UK.

I would have loved to replace my Nexus with another and if the X10 500 was available in the UK, I would have been very interested. I paid £5000 for it and did a 10 year inflation thingy which worked out at £6500. I know there are other factors involved and the strength/weakness of the pound effects the price.

My Nexus has the 460cc engine, so I would have happily paid £6600. Looking at the other options, they all come in at £8000+ to over £10,000. So in the end I brought the Honda Integra at £7000. It has a bigger engine but still very basic and with a 16 stone pillion, nowhere near as comfortable.
