Shortened my Tmax OEM Mirrors 3"!

Post by SkuTorr »

LOOK! I SHRANK my OEM Mirrors 3"! Now they work perfectly with my GIVI AirFlo.

My Orions from Accessori Scooter were fine with the GIVI Touring screen or my Sports Screen, but with the wider AirFlo they were about 40% obscured by my screen/hands. Here are pics of the new look on my 2009,
All Done.jpg
and the old and new views through the different mirrors from the rider's perspective.

I really liked the Original Mirrors on the mk3 - so elegant on their long stems, so small, yet with a good view behind.
The mk4's do work but they are pig ugly!!! Even if they fold forward AND back!

The irony is that I've just fitted handlebar muffs to the mk4, but despite their long and ugly stems the mirrors are too low, as half the rear vision is taken up with muffs! So I actually need Longer stems on the mk4!
