Found a new model on the Yamaha Japanese website http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/mc/scooter/majesty-s/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Its probably a Japanese only model.
They also have a dedicated webpage for it http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/mc/scoote ... s/special/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Aaron nice scooter i must say being a Majesty supporter. Did not know they made a scooter 150cc. Looks good and if had one could give my 1998 YP250 a rest. Nice pic's.

It could be Yamaha's answer to the Honda PCX 150. Probably made somewhere other than Japan (in Asia somewhere) to keep costs down

Doesn't look anything like any Majesty thats been sold in Europe. There again, I guess Yamaha's small models for the European market are probably entirely designed in Europe and made in Europe for Europe.

It's also named "SMAX" outside Japan market. To my knowledge, it's available in HK and Taiwan where they are manufactured.

Re: Yamaha Majesty S 155cc
Some motoring regulations in certain countries require minimum 150cc for Motorway use, certainly true for Italy, which is why you see 125 & 150 versions.

Re: Yamaha Majesty S 155cc
Ok here in New Zealand they don't mind 125 or 150 on motorway as our speed limit only 100 k or 60mph. You see a lot of 125 scooters riding into the city from northern suburbs which is a little motorway speed from where i stay. I must say the 155cc Majesty looks quite nice especially in the pictures of red.
