How long have Maxi Scoots been about? What was the first Maxi? I seem to remember seeing my first on Lanzarote when the Kids were really small so it would be around 20 years ago. Or am I dreaming? I think it was a Burgman 400. The Guy I spoke to said it could be a handful on some of the unmade back roads.
So what is the history of our beloved Bikes.

1985 Mr Honda started with a 250, which qualifies for me as a maxiscoot - CH250

Well I went to 25 th anniversary of Honda Helix treffen in Germany in 2011 and Elite was out before that so guessing it was one of those and yes are a handful on rough road more like riding a jet ski lol 400 burger was the ground breaker 98/99 the Jap thought 250 would sell more but 400 out sold 250 and was dropped

They officially started for me in November 2012 when I bought a Majesty. As a biker, now ex biker, scooters simply did not exist before this date. I hope that clears it up for you.

There were 3 restored henkle tourist scooters at scooter rally in Tenby in may I think they were all from Ireland sounded good as well very meaty sound for 2 strokes
