And when you work in A & E you need to hold them down whilst you scrub the gravel out with a sterile nail brush, but hey they always know best

Then you get comments like "Why should I spend money on stuff like motorbike gear - just makes me sweat"! Not as much as this nail brush will!!

I happily ride in jeans and t-shirt. If I crash I'm sure I'll regret it, but no way am I going though life worrying about what if scenarios. I've been enjoying the freedom of motorcycling in lightweight gear on the roads for 34 years now. If its a red hot sunny day there is nothing I like more than a cooling ride on the bike followed by a cold beer at a pub somewhere before returning home. I put more trust in saddle time and spatial awareness than I do in protective gear. Mind you I do sometimes wear the trainers of invincibility!
