Honda N700 to be 750...

Post by MrGrumpy »

Since we spend half our time talking about the Honda N700S & X, there's a snippet on visordown, saying that next year's models will have 50 more cc (actually to 720cc) and a little more power. Whilst this will take them out of the A2 licence category, they now have the CB500s for that, so they are pushing the N700s slightly up market. Of course, with 51bhp the DCT versions weren't A2 compatible either. Presumably the Integra will follow suit. It will be interesting to see if they do any further versions of the bike next year as well.

Hopefully they'll change the 270 crank and sort out the NVH at the same time.

NVH??? I guess that the 270 degree will stay to give it that 'motorcycle' vibe.......

So are they going to do a lower power DCT bike? eg: in the CB500 or it might make more sense in the product line to have a 450cc - especially as they could then push it as a "Dakar X" for more off-road cred...

It very definitely does.
Honda designed it specifically so that it would vibrate and said so openly even before the thing went on sale.
