Won a givi touring screen on ebay
A couple of days riding with the standard screen of the burgman was enough to make me decide i needed something chunkier. I'm so used to having touring screens on my scoots that it was a big missing point, so i found one on ebay and won it today
i'm eager to get it and install on my scoot now

Re: Won a givi touring screen on ebay
Thanks a lot DougL!!! Their online shop is so crap that most of the parts are in construction and they don't show up on google shopping search, so i didn't know they stocked those muffs. In fact their city branch is only a mile and a half from my office, so i might even pay them a visit at lunch time. They even have the muffs cheaper than elsewhere!!! MANY MANY THANKS!!!
Meldrew, i don't mind tall screen, as long as it has better protection from the weather and rain, but then again it might be hard seeing through under rainy weather if it's too tall. I have no idea how i'd cut it if i needed so i hope it won't be that long ...

How much are they selling the muffs for, and are they the neoprene ones?

£37.99 and yes neoprene ones. I'll give them a ring tomorrow and drop by at lunch time.
Pretty good price, they go for £40 everywhere and even on ebay today, i saw a used one gone for £33!!! Although with a bit of patience you can get one from ebay a bit cheaper. There were two i was watching some time ago which went for £21 and £25 inc p&p, but at that time i didn't have the burgman yet and i wasn't sure how my muffs would fit there...

I got my handlebar muffs off Ebay, from a trader, this is the second year i have used them. I use them on the Silverwing or the Burgman whichever iam riding. I paid £17 for mine. I liked them so much i bought my son in law a set last year.
They don't look as fancy as yours ,but, they do the job.

What gloves do you wear with these muffs?
Is there much room inside them?
Any problems getting a quick grip of the brakes ?

I'd be interested to see how you get on the Tucano Neoprene muffs - I've never tried those. I have a wide variety of other muffs (including the other sort of Tucano muffs), but Tucano are the best. The ones I couldn't get on with were the Oxford ones - every time I reached for the indicator they pulled the brake on! The snag with muffs usually isn't reaching the brake (as long as they are secured properly), but reaching the minor controls.
