Looks good to me. I think that you have a bargain there and you have made the right decision, which in time I am sure you will agree. Enjoy the extra power.

Looks like an excellent bargain to me! There again, I'm a complete mug when it comes to buying things!
Only query was when he said he needed a much bigger bike to go on a European tour...OK a 400 Burger may not be the greatest on Unlimited Autobahns, but otherwise it would be greater tourer - comfortable, huge luggage space (and he's got a topbox!).
Anyway - I hope its all good for you!

Re: Just bought a Burgman 400
You have a good buy there. Out of pure interest I was watching this item also. He initially wanted BiN for £4000 but it only got to £2750 by auction. On re listing he wanted £3700 with best offer so he obviously took your offer. With the accessories on and 3x services pre paid for £3600 is good for a near 1 year old L1 model and 1 year warranty left. My local shop has a basic 59 plate with 6000 mile and it's up for £3500. You have made a good choice, go out and enjoy it.

I had to REALLY haggle though!... although I have no idea what L1 stands for?

Very nice indeed. You won't regret it...ever! Sounds like to got it for a really good price too. Well done. Keep posting to tell us what you think of her in the coming weeks/months etc.

Re: Just bought a Burgman 400
Suzuki have a manufacture decade \ year code convention when the model was made. K5 is 2005, K9 is 2009, then for 2010-2019 changed to the next letter L, 2010 is L0 so yours being a 2011 model is an L1 code. It will be on your V5 when you get it.EastAnglian wrote:I had to REALLY haggle though!... although I have no idea what L1 stands for?
