You can probably mount the Givi adapter plate directly on the rack like on the Xciting (drill 4 holes).
And even with "Kawasaki" writing (instead of Kymco or Givi), it's not nearly as expensive as "BMW": http://www.kawasaki.de/bekleidung/J300?modelYear=2014" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just had a reply from Kymco. They aren't bringing in any ABS equipped Downtown 300i.

Useless. If I wanted something in green I'd run over a frog.

So, that's Kawasaki off the potential purchase list then...
join me in the MCN comment tree for some fun and life lessons in successful sales and marketing for Team Green.

I've seen the silver and black ones and IMO you may as well get a Kymco and save the £50 or whatever - they are just regular looking scoots.

The SE, with its matt black and green flashes, looks smart and a bit different. After years of only being offered choices of black, silver or white for so many scooters this is a breath of fresh air. And I like it, so there.

Better to get a Kawasaki one if it has a proper mph speedo.
Better yet get a Forza.

I see you have one. I've been considering a scooter like one of these. Seems the J300 SE (with ABS) is about the same price as a Forza, but a bit more powerful. Why is the Forza better?

Much longer service interval, significantly bigger internal storage, better fuel economy, very smooth almost totally vibration free while on the move due to advaned (unique to Honda?) twin pivot swingarm design and effective engine balancer, offset crank engine design.
