Yet Another one on the way!

Post by roadster »

ADV 350 that is.

I just had to be a Maxi-Muppet again and a new ADV 350 was the only way. With some regret I am giving up my last sports bike in exchange. The reality is that the ADV will be just as quick as the CB300R 99% of the time and there is only so much excitement that my creaking bones can stand.

Waiting till 1st September and it should be a red one. I've already started picking up bargain accessories when I spot them and I've even tried to read the owners manual, all 190 pages. Hopefully it will make more sense when I get the bike.

Its worrying when I find myself in the middle of a fashion trend! Congrats - still very impressed by mine.

I think I started the ADV350 trend back in September 2023.

Normally I'd say red, and if a red one had been available when I was buying one (I was buying secondhand), I'd have bought it. But it actually looks rather nice in the blue colour. The blue and dark grey panels seem to match very well.

I agreed a deal on a new red one earlier in the week but my trade-in developed a potential engine fault (EML light came on) so I'll have to fix that first. The Honda dealer didn't have an OBD code reader for Royal Enfields so I ordered an adapter cable and will check it myself. Hopefully it's a glitch as the bike runs perfectly. Bad timing though.

The Honda 350 engine is terrific,I have the Forza version and have no complaints apart from the mirrors being “pants”I normally change after 3 years,so will be looking this time next year,I guess I should get myself a ride on the ADV 350 to see if “it floats my boat”
