New from Scotland
Davie M, first scooter after years of bikes. A 2008 TMax 500, I’m not sure which Mk, any others I’ve seen of this age online have differences. Would be keen to identify it. Any tips to work out the detail is much appreciated.

Hi and welcome.
One common problem with working out the mark of bike is the number of pre-registrations, and also ones registered a number of years later.
One Facebook there is a "Yamaha Tmax Owners Group UK (500, 530 & 560cc)" group which if the knowledgeable folks here can't help you with the version, they might be able to. And, it has lots of pictures
