Newbie signing in.

Hi there,

I'm a newbie to scooters etc, but I've been riding 'bikes for nigh on 50 years, aging and health issues have led to me coming to the conclusion that what I need now is a scooter.
I'm currently riding a Honda NC'X 700 DCT, which I've had for 12 years and used as my commuter bike up until I quit working last November, I also have a Fantic Caballero 500 for the last three years.
I've had a fair few bikes over the years and toured on most of them from a Yamaha TDR 250 to a Triumph Tiger 900 'Steamer', that was best bike for that purpose.
But now I'm thinking that it's time for change and something as practical as the NC' with a bit less of everything except economy, the NC' X has returned well over 80mpg over the years.
My riding buddy bought an 'ADV350 in March 2024, he loves it and I've been impressed with it when we've been riding together. In June last year went to the Lake District for a few days, and it performed really well, the only time it struggled was on the passes, where the lack of a clutch to feather and fixed gearing seemed to be a bit of an issue, but it could also have been the rider in unusual conditions?
Anyway, I'm seriously considering an ADV 350 to replace the NC'X in the utility role?
