In 2010 (the peak) there were 194x 125cc and 9x 200cc. So pretty rare even then!

But then I ride a 2022 Kymco DT X360 320cc. Same website reckons there are only 33....

Would the X360 be the equivalent to a Xmax 300?
In Sweden it seems like we only have Kymco Agility 125cc, no other bigger scooter.

Yes, broadly. It is an "adventure" scoot like the Honda ADV350 but there's not much off-roading you can do in them, it's mostly a styling thing. So really you can just lump them in with Forza 350, Xmax 300, Downtown 300 and the Sym offerings.

Removed rear wheel for balancing. This was a three days work
Heating, lubing (WD40), knocking, heating, lubing etc. Everything to avoid destroying a bolt.
Looks like a weird combination of a bicycle rim and a car rim.
This is probably standard but the first time I see it.
I believe its out of balance due to some quite strong pulsating vibrations between 70-85km/h

Balancing done at a tireshop - Added 40gr + 10gr to make it perfect.
Hopefully this cures the vibrations, next step is to change the tire and redo the balancing.

Rear wheel back on the scooter, haven't properly tested it yet but by the feel it does vibrate a lot less.
Installed a Quadlock clone also, got the original on the Sled.
The Carnaby is supposed to be a "everything cheap as f**k" scooter.

Rebalanced the front wheel in a DIY JIG.
Now its as perfect as it gets without a dynamic balancer.
Almost all vibrations is gone, will order new rollers and sliders also, just to make sure everything is mint!
Should have done it when i changed the belt but I thought it wasnt needed at that point.

Driven roughly 1500km with the scooter, still has some vibrations but I believe its down to the tyres.
Was going to remove the variator cover to check rollers, sliders and the secondary variator. Discovered that a sadist must have designed this scooter.
To remove the cover the sidepanels needs to come of, to remove them the saddle module needs to come of.
The the bottom plastics and floor board needs to be removed, to remove them the front plastic needs to be removed.
On top of that the luggage rack also needs to be removed

Was scouting for campsites in the nearby area, figured it would be fun to use the scooter for that. Big mistake! A scooter doesnt belong on gravel roads, not does it belong on forest roads... My a** is completely numb after 1 hour of these kind of roads

Not much action in here!!
Took the plunge and stripped my little Carnaby down to the frame.
Secondary variator was really dirty, miscoloured pads and also miscolouration on the drum.
Took some 80grit sandpapper and buffed the pads up, used the same on inside of the drum.
Figured that a polished surface is worse than a surface with fine scratches?
If Im wrong I can absolutely polish it instead

Does anyone know how much "play" the slider guides should have?
There maybe 1mm of play in total, sideways.

As it is such pain to get to the drivetrain I'll order new rollers and guides just to be sure of not needing to strip it down again in the near future..
