Leaving aside all this navel-gazing chaps, no-one seems to have mentioned - or perhaps noticed - that Sagalout has deleted his account. I can understand his feeling of perhaps 'winter-blues' given these past few dreary months, with one U.K government crisis and scandal after yet another, and the lack of opportunity to obtain that certain 'buzz' from two-wheeled freedom, an experience that cannot really be felt in other activities.
Sagalout, best of luck with your planned holidays and hopefully you and us all will get some good riding weather soon.

Re: Withdrawing from social media!
You know, I'd just noticed it but actually thought I'd made a mistake thinking that. I haven't seen any indication he was going to do that. But good luck to him where ever he is and with whatever he is doing! Great to have chatted with him.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

I wonder if he will actually go on one of his planned trips. Rather odd to leave like that.

Yes, thanks Rocketman. It will be a major advantage if I can avoid the big op. Major surgery will mean I won't be able to walk to start with and unable to walk properly for months. Fingers crossed!Rocketman122 wrote: Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:14 am fingers crossed you will bounce back and wont need the bigger OP.

To be fair, he did announce it, so it was kind of expected.Du PontChardon wrote: Mon Feb 14, 2022 10:00 pm Leaving aside all this navel-gazing chaps, no-one seems to have mentioned - or perhaps noticed - that Sagalout has deleted his account.
It happens, folks leave, some come back, some don't.
I expect we're all at some stage of withdrawal from something or other, just like in Data's original post. I know I am. We lose interests, we change, and sometimes we hang on to things too long.

Yeah, missed that capitano! Still, a shame to see him go so quickly. Never mind, he's happy I'm sure.

There's no excommunication clause. If you leave of your own accord, you can return.Data wrote: Fri Feb 18, 2022 11:46 am Yeah, missed that capitano! Still, a shame to see him go so quickly. Never mind, he's happy I'm sure.
