Hi All
I would like to get some longer bolts for the handlebar ends on my Xmax 300, so I can use a bolt and washer on the outside of my tucano urbano bar muffs, rather than relying on the inner zip ties.
However, not sure if they are m5 / m8 etc - can’t see it online.
Would anyone know?
Thoughts much appreciated.
xmax 300 - anyone know the spec of the bar end weight bolts?

Why not go to a local hardware store - if you can find one - with one of the bolts and ask for something similar but longer! I did this recently when I needed a longer bolt for a screen I was fitting, calling into the high street store 'Wilkinson's' which stocks all sorts of household items. The female assistant did not have a clue about bolts, but was quite happy for me to compare the stock that they had against the one I had taken with me. I found three longer coach bolts in a pack and bought them, the spare one's going in my 'maybe useful in the future' box!

Good idea Du PontChardon, but five50, just remember that not all metric machine screws or bolts are created equally. Bolts or screw size is one thing but make sure to get the correct thread pitch. That's not always possible from hardware stores or non auto stores. It's easy to strip out threads if you don't get the correct ones.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
