Sadly the bike is probably a write-off, after its subsequent trip up the road. It was only 6 months old...

Forza 350 SMIDSY'd
I can now confirm that the Forza 350 is a tough old beast; totally demolishing a car door and protecting my left leg (and the rest of me) from serious damage.

O shit - thats not good - on a positive note the mighty forza 350 would appear to have saved you in what could otherwise have been a nasty injury

Re: Forza 350 SMIDSY'd
Oh sh....! Did someone open their car door on you?
When I had my big accident on my 1st Tmax years ago (van pulled out), I was quite impressed that the fairing (and whatever structure there was behind it) had absorbed 99% of the impact with me getting few actual injuries apart from bruises and strains. I really wouldn't like to have this sort of accident on most bikes with your leg more or less exposed - the injuries could be horrible!
The main thing is that you are OK. Scoots can be replaced....eventually, given the current lack of ability to get anything supplied!

Pulled out from a side-of-the-road parking space as I passed, and punted me into the gutter on the other side of the road. Luckily no-one was coming the other way. Lots of good witnesses...and the RH side of their car written off.

Well...he was a fairly frail old bloke; pretty shocked and covered in broken glass from his door window...aggression wouldn't have helped, really!
Police and his insurance will deal with him; he's admitted full liability.
