Yup. That's what I do. The only scooters I never fitted wide angle mirrors to were my 3 Satelis - they had a wide-angle bit built into the stock mirror. Good old thoughtful Peugeot. Well, until the abomination of the Metropolis, of course: they weren't thinking so well then.
