We were hit ( in the car ) 20 years ago by a no ins, no licience, etc etc type coming round a corner on the wrong side of the road at 80mph.

When on the bike as so many corners you can`t see round here I sometimes suddenly get this aweful feeling of panic and unease.

You`ve done well to get back on and away with it so quickly.

The odd bump now and again is part of biking, they say roughly every 22 months !!!

But this time of year is the slipey off time.

I lost concentration a few years ago ( in summer on a very slow corner ) and sort of just asay caught the grass verge on a bike and sort of stepped off, and then rolled out of it.

Woke me up a bit though re really keeping your mind on things.

Anyway glad your feeling better and ok, happy biking.

By some weird coincidence, just came across this video of someone having an ice encounter on this N750X..

Stephen - DON'T LOOK! It'll bring back traumatic memories! Its pretty shocking...you can almost feel it yourself!

Though in this case, he didn't slide - he was instantaneously down, and despite the title he didn't come across Black ice, but a patch of all too visible sheet white ice.
