7 speed, 250cc Burgman for JDM, extremely rare in Europe, possibly none in US (?)
Spotted this one in Japan and took a pic of the controls if anybody is interested.
Well, the machinery usually does a better job of it! The 'manual' option on the Burgman 650 was a complete pain in the butt to use. I didn't try the manual option on my X-ADV test ride - and I suspect that very few riders with the DCT gearbox actually do use it at all regularly.Meldrew wrote: Fri Sep 14, 2018 10:25 am What's dubious about changing gears, even Auto Only licence holders rave on about Honda DCT bikes.

How you doing mate? Havent' spoken for a while. Not been on Burgmanusa for a while, been too busy with retirement and doing my pilot re-assessment training on single turbine to get my full licence back after all that eye surgery and stuff. Just having issues with my trigometry at the mo for some reason.I'm going to the Birmingham NEC in November for the bike show. I tend to go during the week because it's quieter. Probably coming up on the GTS Vespa. Will you be going do you think? Could be the possibility we meet up briefly for lunch up there if you want to.
