I was just looking at what's on offer. I had no idea you could tuck the bike up at night.

Re: Looking at tents
I've seen similar but less sophisiticated things, but I've wondered whether they'd be any good in high winds, unless firmly bolted down.

Re: Looking at tents
google/ebay "Bike Barn" i used to have one. You can bolt it down to the floor. Even so when the bike is in there it will be sitting on the ground metal plate so it aint flying off anywhere!

Re: Looking at tents
First thing I look at with a tent is the hydrostatic head/ waterproofness, 3000mm is the minimum I would consider, 5000 better still.
Of course size, packed and weight, easy to put up, Vango are generally a good brand they used to make ridge tents for expeditions called force 10 usually orange!
Being dry makes a happy camper!

Re: Looking at tents
Instructions for use.
1 - arrive at wind and rainswept campsite.
2 - Park bike in rain and erect bike barn.
3 - Get under flysheet and make a quick brew. Stack inside porch those wet items you don't want in the tent,
4 - Make a meal and relax.
5 -About bed time go out in rain and retrieve wet bike, allowing a gale to blow through porch
6, Get bike on stand then squeeze round it into tent.
7, In morning get up, open porch (another gale) move still wet bike out into rain and make a brew.
8 Peek out of porch to check bike is still wet. Put on gear.
9 Pull down tent and ride away on wet bike.
Sounds perfect.I'll get one.
