Re: Is it to cold to ride
Even though I've got winter tyres I wimped out this morning after a drive in the car to take the girls to school. It was -5C. One car almost slid into us on the way there and I saw the aftermath of a shunt on the way back. So I logged on from home instead.

I rode and was four layers deep in clothing but minus four and I went round bends across the back roads like a newbie.

Re: Is it to cold to ride
I went to work in the car Monday, Tuesday and today. I think I'll finish the week off in it too. Getting old now, sometimes it's good to just sit in the traffic.
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!

I don't give a f*** about the cold. It's ice I'm concerned about. After breaking an ankle on the stuff three years ago and ending up with a plate and pins in my leg.

Re: Is it to cold to ride
Using the Burgman in the cold without issues. I've got the 400z abs so it has the handguards and heated grips as standard. The full frontal protection from the weather has been much appreciated and I haven't been cold at all. It's the Burgman 'Bubble' of protection that you sit in that does it. It's the warmest bike I've ever ridden in winter.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Try the Givi Airflow screen. I have one on my 400Z and it is vastly better than the standard screen.
