goodbye.....

Post by eric1789uk »

To the tax disc, saves me carrying it in the glovebox cos they got pinched off motorcycles and it was a pain in the rectum applying for a duplicate. I never got a ticket or asked about it in all the years of riding. Happy days
My other bikes have pedals
I've been ugly bunched

Mine has sat on the mantlepiece since the 1st of September, never got around to fitting it in the holder.
It can just go in the fire now.
Or maybe sell it on eBay as a collector's item in 20 years time...

Yes they will, but it would be nice to have some handy reminder to give you some advance warning of when you are going to be hit by a huge bill, or bills!

Few bargain tax disc holders on eBay at the mo...

Took the tax out the car today as expired end of sept - just don't want to display an expired one and plod get all funny when my wife is driving / parking...
Scoot tax disc always lived under the seat or glove box...
Bike one also expired end of Sept - so holder came of at the W/E... now SORN till the spring...

money spinner really, new owners have to tax straight away, v5 change over date will give auto refund to the seller, yet ONLY COMPLETE MONTHS, AND IF YOU BUY/SELL MID MONTH BOTH ARE LOOSERS.. YET WE CAN BUY INSURANCE OR ANYTHING ELSE BY DATE .. SO WHY NOT THE DVLA :?: :?: :?:
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Just a money spinner, all that extra cash for the coffers. Motorists are an easy target. same as speed cameras
