Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't most of England, during the winter driving through the towns in boats? Not us up here!! And isn't Cumbria the wettest region in the UK, also England! :D

Where I live is the driest part of the UK. Its gets less than the med and is classed as a semi arid dessert by rainfall. Mind you you wouldn't think that looking out today.
