a long ride , could have just had a fuel glitch so brings up a code as a warning, if it dont come on again, then try a fuel additive or Shell V-Power Nitro+ in ya tank as got lots of cleaners in it for a couple of fills.. this is based on what i found on the web regarding your F1 below:
I think you mean "FI"... as in Fuel Injection. The FI light is just a warning light telling you an error has occured in your fuel Injection system... just the like "CE" or check engine light on most cars. Take it to your dealer and have them read the error code. Probably ok to continue riding it for now but have it looked at when you can. It's likely something minor.
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

burgman usa below http://burgmanusa.com/forums/15-burgman ... light.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You couldn't find anything on "FI" because the forum only indexes words 3 letters or more.

An FI code can not be made to go away simply be resetting it. So here's what you need to do to figure out what needs to be done:
Go here and look at the instructions for the homemade diagnostics tester. The next time you get the code and before you turn off the bike, use the tester to get the code:
http://burgmanusa.com/bkb/650+Stock+Electrical" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Then you can go here to determine what the code means.
