Good call space probe! The Joymax is slightly more expensive but does come with a 3 year warranty! Stop start, a rear seat back rest and choice of 3 colour. Even though the are white grey and black! And as Ben stated better looking! Or is that just Ben and I?

If I had known that Downtowns from 2012 onwards had proper speedos I might just have bought one instead of the Forza.
Could have saved myself circa two grand. Grrrr.
Still, the Forza has ABS and is doing a fine job what with its good economy and nice long service interval.
Gn, can you remind me what the Forza service interval is please? I know it's long but can't remember exactly.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'! :lol:

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

As I'm sure all owners of inferior machinery are fed up of hearing, the Forza is the class leader in the service interval stakes.
No need to say how long, just that its the longest.
Or for those of you who don't actually ride much, its a year, same as most of the rest.

Sym catalogue says £3895 on the road. My mate's a Sym dealer. ;)

Better tell them to change the website then. It says £4299 there.

And what exactly is the point of stop-start on a scooter? It's not only Sym, but Honda too. If I wanted a machine that worked best when it's not moving, I'd get a car (and I do, but not for getting to work) The whole point of using a scooter is to keep moving!

Catalogue is seriously out of date, the model before the Joymax was the GTS Evo, and it is still available for £3899
Your mate will tell you the correct price for the current ABS and Idle Stop equipped Joymax 300.

Or you can read this: http://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk/forum/vie ... 57#p193957" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or this: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 7055569288" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or this: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 9278984798" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SYM-JOYMAX-30 ... 1329544015" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The point of stop start is that it stops the engine while you are stationary which is more pleasant than having it running.
Its the one thing I miss from the PCX and wish the Forza had.

Stephen. Your very luck that you can get to work without junctions, traffic lights and traffic that you can't always filter through. Unfortunately I often get held up without moving and that's where the stop start kicks in.
