Re: Sym roadshow
Meldrew love you make some valuable contributions but boy do you have a load of angst, whats that all about, I am a qualified psychiatric nurse if you you ever want to talk.
Now yes the 400 and the 600 have the same body , so the Givi site lists the screen and top box as does Ebay and here which also as the aprons and wind deflectors. http://www.tagoscooter.com/en/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. The shad site lists top boxes for the 600 and 400 and their accessories (I just got the back rest pad from them). The Sym site lists the screens and top box fixing plates under both the 400 and the 600 it was even on that spoof Kawasaki 600 add that was posted the other day. Interesting I have just come back from having my first service so while I waited I had a long chat to the sales manager. I said if was frustrating about the lack of demos in any brand. He said the reception had been such that many dealers were not prepared to buy in demo. However that had seen an increase in interest in big scooters so had got in a demo Burg 400 and 650. It had paid off and they had sold three 650's this month already. based on this and how impressed that had been with mine they were going to get a 600 demo in since in his view the Burg was not worth the £3k and he thought they would sell well. He even said they had a lot of interest in my old 400 which he expected to go soon. So perhaps things are looking up here for the scooter market. And trust me the 600 is well worth going to the trouble of trying .
Maximum respect

Re: Sym roadshow
Meldrew has me pegged right,i do have all the extras that he mentions, i have taken them off, for now.My bike is an 07, and i got the mileage wrong on that post ,sorry, iam just tripping 40,000mls now. Again as Meldrew points out i don't give a castle main xxxx for what anyone else thinks i ride what i ride. One of the reasons for wanting a new bike is mine is 7yrs old and although always kept in my garage by using it all year round, and almost every day ,i feel the suspension and other expensive to replace parts might soon need replacing. I have a couple of dealers on my list for a new Silverwing and I'll be going for a haggle soon.

Whoa there! Due to speed surfing I read that as "I once bought a horse without ever seeing it."gn2 wrote:I once bought a house without ever seeing it.

Hi Sylar, when do you want to meet up?Sylar wrote:Well i have not, in buying bikes for over fifty years i have never come across such a stupid policy. Iam sorry but anyone that pays sixthousand pounds for something they have never seen i would like to meet, as i have a gold mine for sale in Nigeria, and an Opal mine i can let them have cheap in Australia. Just send me your bank details and I'll help myself to your money.
I bought my Kawasaki GTR 1400 in 2007 for £ 11k unseen as I wanted to have it as soon as it was launched. Kept it for 4 years. Best bike I ever owned, until the Black Wing!
