Scooter covers

Post by c4aok »

Stupid question time ..... I want to get a rain cover for my bike but how do I cover it without hot exhaust setting fire to everything. Bike parked on street away from house so not practical to come back when cool

most scooter covers are heat resistant and i have never had trouble with any good cover, :D
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

They must be heat resistant. I use mine with a hot Akrapovič pipe and never had the slightest problem.

The simple answer is wait for half an hour for the exhaust to cool down before putting the cover on.

It is parked in central london so away from house.

Locking it up already a pain hence why I posted about chaining to a lamp post (separate post). Locking up and parking takes me longer than actual commute!

buy a cover that has the holes at front and back then you can run the chains thr it, they tend to have a central under body strap as standard
