I have to say this is one of the best bike forums I have ever been on. People are helpful, funny and caring, you really do feel you are amongst friends when you come on line and if you have a problem someone knows how to sort it.[/quote]

+1... what he just said

Great looking scoot Spaceprobe and enjoyed your review - thanks.
I read your review 10 mins or so after you had written it - I was keen to read before I had to get prepared to go away for the bank holiday - but it was late and bed beckoned.

Well, I've just got on here - arrived home to rain and cold - and found this thread had burgeoned to keep me occupied and mac65's new thread too :D
Your heater thingy.... is it a vent from the rad and is it useful for anything or a gimmicky thingy? From what you say it will heat up a scoot apron.

Anyway, need to get dinner on, unpack, catch up with snooker, check mac65 out and then get back on here.

Hope you're feeling better, loving your new scoot and that it lives up to your expectations.

Keep us posted when you can. 8-)

Tim

I think the heater is an OK idea but I expect for it to be most effective you need an apron. Yes it comes off the radiator.

I suspect that the only time you'll feel it is when you least need it - eg standing at traffic lights on a hot day! I suspect that in the winter there wouldn't be enough heat to make any difference on the move, especially as you would be well wrapped up anyway.

In winter, one could ride with an apron and without one's trousers on, thus allowing hot wind to waft around ones underparts. You'd feel it then!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Spaceprobe

SYM Taiwan have asked very politely if they can post your review on their website - 'first UK test review'

It would give me great pleasure to say yes!
