Well that is brilliant, anyone would be pleased with that sort of fuel consumption. I must admit I would love to have a go on a Forza.

To put it into perspective, it was achieved with a pre-warmed engine at slower than normal speeds on an A-road with no stops.
78mpg is the real figure for normal use.

In my experience once you get above 65mpg the cost of fuel ceases to be a factor in running costs.
Calculate the amount of fuel spend you have between services and then compare to the cost of that service...

Ah, I've been lying....
I fuelled up today at 295 miles and my bike is averaging 72mpg, although the average fuel readout states just over 80 after today's little ride. I suppose really I need to do another few hundred miles in order to see what my real average fuel consumption is going to be.

Its a long time between services on a Forza. (and a few other Hondas)Globs wrote:In my experience once you get above 65mpg the cost of fuel ceases to be a factor in running costs.

Simple oil change job at 8,000 miles and full service at 16,000
