Yes it dries clear and a little goes a long way. I would expect a £15 can to last around 2 years.

I know the seam in front,i was going to fill that seem with a bit of silicone sealer ,will it work ?

where can you buy AF50 i tried some while ago but could get any from local car shops

You can see offending seams under cut outs for radiators its a water trap if you have ridden in rain .My 05 was bad as it lived on south coast so add salty air as well once started prodding had 4 holes .Was cheap and full history so took a chance on it holes now welded up and rust sorted thanks to Lyn and Tony .If it had been rust proofed and front mudflap and any rust spots kept on top of from new would have not happened .Would have also sold for at least £300 more than I paid

ACF50 is clever stuff
I think it was originally for aluminium aircraft and aviation standards are always much higher than automotive.

It can reseal itself if something scratches through it and it creeps and penetrates between surfaces.

Don't use it on things that are a friction fit, it will do its best to get in and lubricate everything

What about on parts that get hot?

Engine/crankcase etc? Does it discolour?

They also produce a grease with the same spec. Good for keeping electrics water free.

I put it on engines and exhausts, as they can corrode, smokes a bit, but no residue left, so it stays clear even on hot parts.
Any spills on paintwork can easily be removed by degreaser, but it wont harm paintwork so you dont have to bother.
Sounds too good to be true eh?? thats why its 14 quid a can.

That's my concern. I was going to have it done at a place near Derby but changed my mind. The all year biker acf50 treatment uses a sprayer. I don't think they cover the panels so it must get everywhere. I can't look at their video with my cheapo tablet.
But if they clean and degrease all the panels afterwards, it might be worthwhile.
I might give them a ring.

do it yourself for 15 quid liam, its a doddle, i do about 10 bikes a year. or get it round here and ill do it for you.

it wont damage paint at all and can be washed off with soap and warm water .. its also very good at making tired old plastic look a lot better .... before you spray it put the can in a bowl off warm water it sprays much better
