Go onto youtube and look at the videos of people doing the job first.
It's a great way to learn and you'll have seen it done before you even try.

I suspect any Honda 125 will be similar but perhaps if you need to move a panel have a search for the Silverwing videos.

Yes, always get the best belt. Remember when it's raining, dark and you need to be somewhere that extra £10 will seem cheap..

ETA: Strange - I'd still be having a good look under the cover!

Yes , There is oil , check that weekly , however...i dont know if its had a new spark plug or filter change , does that happen when it gets serviced for a MOT?

Thanks for the replies

Oh someone did say to me today that if its low on fuel and water got in the tank , that may be the cause , when i left work today , the same thing happened but without the screech and i was at 45 mph full throttle , just filled her up with fuel , and will take a half hour trip out , will let you know if it happens again.

ok these questions lead to say your scoot needs some loving :D if you got a blocked air filter , air wont be able to get to the engine causing loss of power, so first port of call is to change the filter about £12 HERE http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-FES125- ... 4172b3019a" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; easy job to get you into do it yourself.. then see how she goes.. then probably spark plug and oil change time :D
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
