I am sad to say.....with my missus..we stay in hotels every night and just use the van as transport between hotels,,,,it does have air con but just on the dashboard so when I'm traveling alone and sleeping in the van, I pop up the roof and open the mesh airflow flaps and crack open the side windows...
Dear God,
Please send clothes for all those poor ladies
in Daddy's computer. Amen

Well I'm back home. Got a phone call Monday and had to get home as quick as possible, Nada managed to get a flight on tuesday morning but I had to get the van back home, I managed to get a booking on the ferry from Bilbao on Tuesday morning at 10.30. So I had to load the van and get going straight away I didn't want to drive too much in the dark.
Left Marbella at 1 pm and headed north via Madrid rush hour  the spanish roads are made for fast driving, so I set the cruise control at 75 mph and did it in one hit stopping only for fuel and pee stops and pulled into Bilbao at 10.55 just as the sat nav said. Mind you, to find your way to the ferry terminal in the dark when you've never been there before and with no one around to ask, took forever.
when I did get to the loading area,,,the place was awash with campervans and spanish truckers, all sitting around drinking wine and beers waiting for the same 10.30 ferry [it was like a massive campsite] ,,,so not to be unsociable I joined in :ok
To say I'm knackered is an understatement
