From one Italian to another
Well I've took the plunge, after 41320 miles on my Piaggio XEvo 125 the time had come for a change due to rising repair bills. Even though it was still running OK, I doubt it would have got through the up coming winter.....and my new ride a low mileage (3100) 2012 Aprilia SR Max 125. My first impressions are that...its different. Its more 'sport' orientated therefore the riding position is a little more forward. I've only done a couple of miles on it, returning from Vin Cunninghams and it seems OK. There's plenty of goodies and gadgets on it of which I'll have my head stuck in the user manual this afternoon to find out about them. All in all I got fair value p/ex for my XEvo, and this was a machine I couldn't pass by. With a full week of travel to work to come I'll let you know how things progress...............

Blimey, 41,000 miles on one scooter. Hope the new one does as well.

I'd done nearly 36000 on my previous scooter , a Piaggio Skipper, till some scrote attempted to thieve it from my garage and damaged it BER. The Leader engine on that was still in pretty good nick as well.
