41k isnt the end of the line for one of these engines. If you like the bike and its obviously been fairly reliable then £3-400 is worth spending as a newer bike is going to cost you a fair bit more than that. Yes GPR exhausts are cheap crap, get a Leo 4Road.

Stailess steel Gianelli Iperscooter £200 from Netherlands: Linky
Deglazing the clutch just means taking the shine off the clutch shoes.
Can be done with a bit of emery paper at a cost of pennies.
If the working face of the clutch drum is worn past the service limit it will need a new one, about £40

Re: To sell or not to sell
Thanks for the posts. I also had it mind that the engine should be good for a fair bit more.
I've seen both the Leo Vincent and gianelli. The gianelli ones I've seen in the UK have a black part on them. The one in all stainless looks much nicer.
Both nice looking in their own way. I think I would trust the Leo Vincent brand more but I like the big bulky look of that gianelli. Anyone had any experience with turbo kit?

Yep I've seen the Endy's. Personally I don't like them. I saw a few up close pics and they looked a bit poor quality wise. It's definitely a different look though.

yep there are the look of hand made.... i would keep the old lass, treat her nice and hunt down the parts you need, if you get another, you wont know her, and she may be a floosy and need lots of attention....masterchop wrote:Yep I've seen the Endy's. Re: To sell or not to sell
I think I will be keeping it. Monty has helped loads by offering me a replacement clutch at a good price. I'll spend a bit of money and hope for the best. Thanks for all the links. I worry a bit about buying from abroad but the prices are a hell of a lot more reasonable.
