I feel for you.
Once I parked my new Runner VX on fresh patch of asphalt, it was sunny and very warm. The one side of the double stand sank into the asphalt and the runner just tipped over.

Easy steps to avoid this:

- Buy new scooter
- admire it's pristine condition
- wheel it outside the shop
- let it down gently, give it a bit of a push about once down
- *presto* no more concern about that first scratch, or being overly paranoid about dropping it

I feckin hate the wind, very hairy in the 50 mph section of the M6 last night, it was coming from every angle and with the narrow lanes made for an interesting run home.
Just bikes for me, oh and the odd car

It was absolutely mint condition.

Scratches down the left hand leg shields and its smashed the extra large Givi Screen.
Oh bugger....sorry. My Baby Burger 200 managed to fall off its side stand a while back, even when it wasn't windy, so maybe there is some potential issue with the sidestand. Yes mine had scratches on the left hand side, and put a crack in my Givi screen! Annoying as the first day I had it, it fell off the centre stand (on uneven ground) and put scratches on the Right Hand side, and broke the screen, so I put a new screen on, and I've now cracked that!!!! There again, mine is used for the commute so its intended mostly as the sacrificial victim in the salt to keep the TMax reasonably pristine, so its only an irritation for me not a total piss off.
There again...my burger got blown off its Centrestand the other week! Fortunately fell against a cycle rack, with no damage.

Sorry to hear it fell over Gerard. It's a bugger when that happens. Feel for you. But...it'll be good as new when it's been through the body shop! Chin up! ;)
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
