I will be putting my Burgman 400 up for sale in the next month.
It's a 2010 model (60 plate) L10 model in silver with under 5000 miles, full service history and it's been owned by me from 500 miles and its just had 12 months tax put on it. It's in excellent condition and the only accessory I have added is a Givi Monokey top box plate.
Having checked the market place I was thinking of asking around £3200. Do you think this is a fair price?
Is this a fair price?

Re: Is this a fair price?
Since someone on here was looking at an 08 model for £3000, that sounds a bargain

Hi Dave,Dave Weller wrote:Are you thinking of getting a S-Wing in White.
I have, subject to the Burgman being sold, decided to go for the Integra. I am pleased with the NC700X which I have now kitted out for touring and feel that the Integra will suit my needs. Don't get me wrong, the Burgman is a fantastic scooter and when it's up for sale I am sure that whoever buys it will be pleased.
I understand that you and Richie the 1st are aiming to go to West Mersea this coming Sunday so might see you there, as its only 8 miles from my new adobe.

That is a very good price, i'd put it on the market for a bit more for haggling down to this price though.

Thanks for the feedback guys which is encouraging. I think that £3200 is a good price and that's what I will advertise it for and hopefully it should sell.halfabusa wrote:That is a very good price, i'd put it on the market for a bit more for haggling down to this price though.
I did consider a higher price initially but in this economic climate I thought the above price was fair.

I saw the vid of a guy on a nc700 manual bike and he was raving how well it accelerated, im sure my 650 Burg was faster.

Re: Is this a fair price?
I think the B650 would be faster, although my NC and Burgman accelerate the same in my hands.
I'm just not interested in acceleration, since I once had an accident showing off and I ended up glancing off two cars.
RR, hope to see you Saturday, if the ride is not called off, I know the C90 owners don't worry about the weather and I can use my CB250 if the salt is still on the road.
