Hello everyone, I have joined the Maxi-Muppets hoping to get some advice, as I am aware groups like this are always well informed, and it not able to take the micky 🙃.
I own and have ridden a Honda X-ADV 750 for the last x3 years. The X-ADV has been my brilliant daily ride/commute to a place of work. I no longer work in the same place, and so the X-ADV is not required and I gave decided to sell it. As motorcycle news has stopped private sales I chose bike trader but with little success. I know the X-ADV is a little different ( let's say) but I have had zero interest, despite pricing it sensibly ( in my humble opinion).
So the advice I am hoping for is are these scoots selling, is there a better place to advertise?
Any help or advice welcome.

Honda XADV750 on 69 plate (2020)
Green (camouflage rare colour)
New F & R tyres
New chain & chainset
Serviced
21k miles

Needs the MOT expiry date as well.

I'd drop the "rare colour" bit too, one person's "unique" is another's "difficult to source parts for".

You are going to have to wait for a buyer though, it's the wrong time of year and they appeal to people who already know they want one.

Also consider delivery options, would you ride it to them if they bought you a train ticket home?

I've sold on E-bay before, but you need a hide like a Rhino to fend off time wasters and chancers.(The correct answer to "My brother he buy your car, small commission only" involves sex, travel, return travel, more sex and further travel).

I had it advertised for £6695 but would consider offers at £6000.

Thanks Andy good advice, especially your eBay advice. I have been offered a swap for an Audi A1, and a date with his sister.
